Chase Mobility specialise in bespoke DDA lifts. We do not supply a range of standard products; rather they are designed in conjunction with the clients to give the desired finish. They can be integrated with the surroundings or be features in themselves.
All the lifts are based on strong scissor lift platforms that have an initial capacity in excess of the 500kg limit allowed in the standard BS6440. This allows the customer to inset the same flooring as the surroundings (for example marble or other stone) and then the lift capacity is adjusted accordingly.
The clean lines of glass and stainless steel are popular but we can manufacture lifts with oak clad posts, painted steel, trim to match existing balustrade – whatever you want.
We have fitted lifts in to listed building, National Trust and English Heritage properties as well as the entrances to office blocks and front of house in hotels. Equally we can install lifts outside over light-wells and at the entrances to buildings.
We typically work with architects, end users and trade customers to achieve the desired look whilst ensuring compliance with British Standards. In existing buildings it is sometimes necessary to request concessions to the Building Regulations as the buildings will not allow complete compliance.
Our design team will provide detailed drawings of and civil work required and information on electrical requirements.
All lifts are installed by our own experienced installation team ensuring continuity through the whole process.
