Draks supplies cutting edge design for Marine Wharf

When Draks received a brief from Berkeley Homes to supply a new cutting-edge sliding wardrobe door for the prestigious Marine Wharf development, the Draks design team quickly set to work and created the contemporary Jericho collection of frameless doors which are made in the UK.
Marine Wharf is in an enviable location in London’s Surrey Quays and includes two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses with versatile living spaces. Berkley’s brief was for Draks to supply a sliding wardrobe door design which complemented the contemporary entrance doors specified within the apartments. After several months of development, the Jericho collection was born.
The Jericho collection offers a wide range of gloss, matt and woodgrain finishes suiting any interior design. The final selection at Marine Wharf is a stylish grey oak full carcass with chunky shelving and crisp, clean white gloss doors with a matching grey oak panel. This combination, complete with the collection’s smooth soft closing system, has now been confirmed as the standard speciation for forthcoming phases on the development.
Flexibility of production at Draks’ Oxfordshire based factory enables doors to be made exactly to suit individual needs and with short lead times. All products are fitted by the company’s own team of CSCS registered installers, ensuring complete control over delivery times and product quality.

James Fletcher, Draks’ Managing Director, comments: “Draks is well used to working with both local and national housebuilders so, when Berkeley Homes came to us, we understood their needs and were able to respond with a concept that was exactly in tune with their ideas. With its unique horizontal grooves and sleek discreet recessed handles, the Jericho frameless door which resulted was a perfect fit for this upmarket city scheme.”
