Leading hinge manufacturer SIMONSWERK showcased the latest developments in its comprehensive hinge portfolio at the recent 100% Design Exhibition. These included the new TECTUS TE 526 & 527 3D fully concealed hinges for flush commercial doors which have achieved fire testing certification to 60mins from Warrington Exova, the benchmark for products used in safety critical applications such as fire doors. These fire-rated hinges will carry door weights up to 120kg and, as with all TECTUS hinges, are 3D adjustable, have an opening angle up to 180° and are maintenance free.
Also on show were the increasingly popular CE marked TRITECH fire rated solid brass hinge with concealed bearings, 25 year performance guarantee and a new PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) finish. These corrosion resistant PVD coated hinges maintain their original good looks, can stand up to the most aggressive conditions, have high temperature resilience, good impact strength and excellent abrasion resistance.
