NEW AND EASY FIRE PROTECTION FOR SHEDS, CLADDING AND OTHER TIMBERS

ACS FCO is a new generation, clear, waterborne fire retardant, surface applied impregnation liquid for protecting timber and timber related substrates.

Tested in accordance with EN13501 on softwoods, hardwoods, and particleboard achieving a rating of B/S1/d0 (equivalent to Class 0 & 1 to UK Building Regulations).

ACS FCO can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces including, floors, timber framing, panelling, decking, soffit board, fencing and cladding, both interior and exterior. ACS FCO can be easily applied by brush, roller or garden sprayer and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Ideal for use in areas where arson has been a problem especially where fencing backs onto open ground and allotment sheds.

ACS FCO needs to be adsorbed by the timber and therefore must be applied to un-painted surfaces although it is suitable for application to pressure treated timber. Once dry it can be decorated with any good quality fencing stain or ACS Timbercoat No1.

FCO is part of a range of fire retardant and intumescent paints for use on wood, steelwork and plasterboard, which are available from Advanced Chemical Specialties Ltd.
