Planned Office Interiors Ltd refreshed office space

Planned Office Interiors Ltd refreshed office space

ALE Heavylift recently relocated their company headquarters to a new site in Staffordshire Business Park, with a vision of having an open plan office that placed a strong emphasis on employee comfort.

Global Resource Manager for ALE Wendy Birch, contacted office design specialists, Planned Office Interiors Ltd, to seek out new and refreshing ideas for the forward-thinking company’s new design layout. Planned Office Interiors worked closely with Wendy in creating the company’s future workspace that would complement the whole building from flooring to ceilings.

With their expert knowledge on layouts, colours and finishes, the major re-fit of the newly designed space included curved walls and interesting lines, which steered away from the standard office plans of straight lines and more traditional interiors.

To complete the reception, café and open meeting spaces in the office renovation project, ALE Heavylift needed a floor that offered a unique look and was easy to maintain. All of these areas were subjected to a high level of foot traffic and maintenance challenges, which placed an added importance on selecting a floor that would not only perform under the office’s daily activity, but would also clean up quickly and easily.

Planned Office Interiors knew that a carpet tile range from the durable and contemporary collection of CFS flooring products would provide just what they needed; quality products with great design options. Having the full samples delivered direct to the offices next day allowed ALE Heavylift to get a real feel for the products and be confident in the selection process. The resulting selection was 600m² of CFS Concept 877, 50m² Poppy and 180m² Platinum of CFS Illusion.

The contemporary designs available in CFS Illusion are supported by a commercial warranty and easy maintenance qualities, which is ideal for corporate spaces. Both ranges are made with 100% Solution dyed polypropylene which ensure that the tiles are ready to withstand the rigors of day-to-day business and meet the demanding requirements of today’s office environments.

ALE Heavylift liked the look of the CFS collections because their striking visuals suit the image of the firm, and offer a unique change from standard flooring; featuring a dark charcoal base with a contrast of red and silver tones, these ranges make a bold statement. In continuing the design lines from walls to floors, using these flooring products allowed for easier cutting, installation and flexibility when creating borders to complement the curves and create the feature circles as a focal point.

With the project complete, ALE Heavylift’s newly renovated office space has a floor that complements the building design, and offers exceptional performance. Pauline Simpson, Operations Manager for Planned Office Interiors, commented, “One of the added benefits of selecting CFS as preferred supplier of flooring products was the efficient and prompt ordering system, free delivery and the ‘one stop shop’ which gave us the confidence to ensure we had been provided with the correct screed, adhesives and nosings.” CFS flooring products and accessories are available from specialist flooring supplier Carpet & Flooring.
