Why switching to waterproof wall panels is the way to go for housing professionals

Why switching to waterproof wall panels is the way to go for housing professionals

Europe’s largest housing event, Housing 2018, kicks off on 26 June. Multipanel®  will be there.

Multipanel is at the forefront in manufacturing waterproof bathroom wall panels, wet room flooring, and ceilings that enable housing association professionals to create great looking, practical, waterproof interiors.

The team from Multipanel will be on hand to talk about and illustrate the advantages of using Multipanel products as a cost-effective, low maintenance, no-grout alternative to tiles in housing association properties.

“Multipanel waterproof wall panels are up to three times quicker to install than tiles, says Multipanel Residential Director, Michael Dobson, “and as they require no additional tradesmen to install, the resultant cost savings that can be achieved by switching from tiles is considerable – typically up to £20 per m2.

On a modest bathroom refurb project comprising, say 50 properties, for example, with average size bathrooms, the overall savings could be as much as £5,000. Even more if you factor in shorter void periods between tenancies which result from getting the job done faster.”

Delegates visiting the Multipanel exhibition stand (C61) will be able to obtain a quick and accurate calculation of the cost savings they might expect when using Multipanel on their own particular project. Additionally, they will be able to browse the new Multipanel ranges, including the Linda Barker and Heritage Collections, and check out Hydrolock®, Multipanel’s near seamless waterproof system for joints.
